Man dies in Sande traffic collision

Adam Brunsvik, 24, died in a traffic collision near Hanekleiva in Sande on Monday evening, Sør-Øst police district confirmed in a statement.

Emergency services responded to a serious crash between a car and a motorcycle, but the motorcyclist—a man in his 20s—was pronounced dead at the scene, said police prosecutor Bettina Evelyn Kristiansen.

Preliminary investigations suggest the motorcyclist skidded and crossed into oncoming traffic. Police have conducted witness interviews and technical examinations. The name was released in consultation with the next of kin.
