Faroese tailors to gain official vocational training

The Faroese Ministry of Culture has proposed a new regulation to establish official vocational training for tailors, according to a report by Faroese public broadcaster KVF.

The draft regulation, now open for consultation, would amend existing rules on mandatory vocational training to include tailoring. The programme would combine practical training in the Faroe Islands with theoretical studies in Denmark.

There are currently 71 approved vocational training programmes in the Faroe Islands.
