Passenger plane makes emergency landing at Torp Airport

A passenger plane with 214 people on board made an emergency landing at Torp Airport Sandefjord on Monday after smoke was detected in the cabin, according to a statement from the South-East Norway Police District.

The landing proceeded without incident, and passengers disembarked at the terminal, where emergency services provided assistance. Operations leader Marius Daffinrud Fosvold confirmed in the police log that the airport is temporarily closed until the situation is resolved.

The incident was first reported by Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet.
