Worker threatened with firearm in Pori, suspect arrested

A city worker in Pori was threatened with a firearm early Monday while on duty in the Sampola district of East Pori, police report.

According to authorities, the worker was performing job-related tasks when suddenly confronted with the weapon. The suspect fled the scene after the threat but was quickly apprehended.

Police have charged the individual with aggravated firearms offenses and illegal threats. No injuries were reported, and the firearm was not discharged during the incident.
