Moped tour offerings are expanding across Mid- and West Jutland, with Hanstholm now joining the trend, reports Danish broadcaster DR.

Cold Hawaii Knallerttur in Hanstholm will provide guided rides, including two-hour short trips and seven-hour day tours, showcasing local landmarks such as Hanstholm Harbour, Thylejren, and the Olsen-Banden bunker.

Co-owner Rasmus Fejerskov said the port town’s character makes it ideal for moped tours. “If there’s a city in Denmark that should offer moped rides, it’s Hanstholm. It’s a harbour town with a capital H, and it embodies the moped spirit,” he told DR.

The company plans to introduce three-wheeled mopeds after the summer to include mobility-impaired participants. “The greatest joy will be putting an 85-year-old on a moped who never expected such an experience,” Fejerskov said.

Cold Hawaii refers to a stretch of the Jutland west coast near Klitmøller, known as a top European surfing destination with 31 surf spots from Agger to Hanstholm.
