Lightning disrupts multiple level crossings in Southwest Finland

Several level crossings on the railway between Raisio and Uusikaupunki in Southwest Finland are out of order due to a thunderstorm, according to the Finnish Traffic Agency’s Road Traffic Centre.

The storm damaged safety equipment at the crossings. The disruptions began at around 10:45 p.m. on Friday. Authorities have not provided an estimate for how long the outages will last.
