The Faroese Sports Federation (ÍSF) has not abandoned its push for Faroese membership in the International Olympic Committee, despite political setbacks and a swift rejection from the IOC, Faroese public broadcaster KVF reports.

Høgni í Jákupsstovu, the federation’s president, confirmed on Friday that the organization remains committed to its demand for recognition, even after the Faroese parliament, the Løgting, withdrew its support for the bid.
