The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) has granted nearly €8 million in state subsidies to support newspaper delivery in areas where five-day early morning distribution is not commercially viable.

Funding was awarded to 40 regions, with recipients including Posti Jakelu, Botnia Print, and Tmi Jyrki Ruokamo. The subsidy period begins in October and marks the fourth round of such support, introduced after postal services shifted to three-day delivery in 2023.
