Fights among youths outside Janakkala amusement park lead to assault charges

Police in Häme are investigating a violent incident involving several young people outside the Puuhamaa amusement park in Tervakoski, Janakkala, on Wednesday evening.

Rikoskomisario Jani Stepanoff of Häme Police said one of the youths had previously been removed from the Puuhamaa premises. More than five people were present during the altercation, though the exact number remains unclear.

The incident resulted in two reported assaults, with multiple individuals suspected of involvement. Stepanoff confirmed that some of those involved are minors, while others are adults. The assaults were carried out with fists, and no weapons were used. There was no danger to bystanders.

Puuhamaa is a popular amusement park in Janakkala, particularly among families with children.
