Beauty clinic files for bankruptcy after patient safety violations
A beauty clinic in Espoo, Nordicshape, has filed for bankruptcy after regulators found serious patient safety violations at its local branch, according to a report by Taloussanomat.
The company submitted its bankruptcy petition to the Länsi-Uusimaa District Court on Wednesday. Finland’s licensing and supervision authority, Valvira, ordered the Espoo clinic to suspend operations this spring following an unannounced inspection that uncovered multiple severe deficiencies in patient safety.
Valvira stated that Nordicshape had used unlicensed medicinal products in patient treatments.
