Jetflite, the provider of government business flights in Finland, will shut down its flight, brokerage, ground handling, and technical operations following negotiations, the company announced on Wednesday.

The closure will result in the termination of 49 jobs. Jetflite cited unprofitable operations as the reason for the decision. Activities will be phased out during a transition period, with operational work continuing until the end of September.

The company’s current fleet includes Dassault Falcon 7X, Bombardier Challenger 650, and Bombardier Challenger 604 aircraft, according to Lentoposti. Jetflite’s contract to provide government business flights remains valid until the end of September 2028.
