Main railway line in Finland resumes after system fault
A signalling system fault between Kokkola and Pännäinen that disrupted traffic on Finland’s main railway line has been repaired, the Fintraffic Rail Traffic Centre said.
Trains were directed via a backup system after 10 pm, with the fault fixed after midnight. Services have since returned to normal.
Evening trains between Helsinki and Oulu or Rovaniemi faced significant delays due to the issue.
