Finnish transport minister files for divorce

Finland’s Minister of Transport and Communications Lulu Ranne has filed for divorce from her husband Jari Ranne, according to a report by tabloid Seiska.

Ranne, a member of the Finns Party, submitted the petition to Hämeenlinna District Court on Monday. She and Jari Ranne have been married for more than a decade.

Ranne, who has served as a member of parliament since 2019, became transport and communications minister in November 2024. She is also a city councillor in Hämeenlinna.
