A Danish-language track has become the most streamed song in Denmark, surpassing Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You, according to industry group Ifpi.

Stor Mand by Tobias Rahim and Andreas Odbjerg, released in 2022, has now exceeded 90 million streams in Denmark across Spotify, Apple Music, and YouSee Musik.

Rikke Johan Bak, Ifpi’s director of communication and public affairs, said the milestone reflects the growing dominance of Danish artists in the country’s music consumption. In 2025, nine of the top 10 most popular songs in Denmark were by Danish acts.

Lukas Graham’s 7 Years ranks fourth on the all-time streaming list, while Volbeat’s For Evigt holds the tenth spot. Stor Mand also placed 64th in a recent DR Top100 poll voted on by the public.
