Suspected forgery in Kouvola art exhibition

A painting displayed at a Reidar Särestöniemi exhibition in Kouvola’s Vuohijärvi cultural centre is suspected to be a forgery, according to a statement from the venue.

The work was loaned from a private collection, which had acquired it through an international auction, the cultural centre said.
