Finland adds drone threat preparedness guidelines to Suomi.fi

The Finnish Ministry of the Interior has added instructions on preparing for drone threats to the Suomi.fi website’s emergency and crisis preparedness guide, according to a ministry press release.

The new section explains how authorities will warn of aerial threats, how to prepare for a drone threat, and how to protect oneself during such an incident.

The ministry noted that aerial threats are always sudden and difficult to anticipate, making it crucial to know how authorities issue warnings and how to respond in an emergency.

Finland first published drone threat guidelines for the public at the end of March.
