Missing man found drowned in Kirkkonummi

A man under 30 who had been reported missing was found drowned in Kirkkonummi on Sunday, according to Western Uusimaa Police.

The man had been out in a rowboat between Saturday night and Sunday morning, and the empty boat was discovered on Sunday morning. Search efforts began the same day, and the Finnish Border Guard’s helicopter later spotted the body in the water in the Morsfjärden area.

Police said they would provide further updates on the case, if necessary, no earlier than Monday.
