Person pulled from water at Sognsvann taken to hospital

A person was retrieved from the water at Sognsvann in Oslo on Saturday evening after being reported missing, Dagbladet reports.

Emergency services, including police and fire crews with multiple vehicles, responded to the scene. A rescue helicopter was also en route. The individual is an adult man, according to police.

Large areas around the popular lake were cordoned off. Operations leader Øyvind Hammervold confirmed in a police log at 19:48 that a person had been found in the water and that life-saving first aid was underway. The patient was transported to hospital for further treatment around 20:15.
