Student knits own graduation dress to avoid spending 10,000 kroner

Graduating students across Denmark expect to spend between 5,000 and 15,000 kroner celebrating their milestone, DR reports.

Emma Skyggebjerg Kjær, a student at Sankt Annæ Gymnasium in Copenhagen, calls the expense “idiotic.” She has bought the cheapest graduation cap and is knitting her own graduation dress.
