Man suspected of attempted murder in Lahti

A 22-year-old man from Asikkala is suspected of attempted murder after a victim was found seriously injured in a residential stairwell in Lahti on 18 June, Yle reports.

The Päijät-Häme District Court remanded the suspect in custody on Thursday on probable cause. Police state the incident appears to be targeted at a single individual and posed no threat to bystanders.
