Court overturns appointment of Ostrobothnia police chief

The Helsinki Administrative Court has annulled the appointment of Jarkko Lehtinen as chief of the Ostrobothnia Police Department, ruling the decision unlawful.

Two applicants for the position had filed complaints demanding the appointment be overturned. Lehtinen was selected for the role last year.
