Wednesday to be Finland’s coolest day of the week
Finland will see cooler air flowing in from the west on Wednesday, making it the week’s coldest day, with temperatures staying below 20°C across most of the country, according to Yle’s weather service.
A rain front over southern Finland will gradually move southeast by Wednesday afternoon, though showers may still reach the southern coast. Scattered rain showers are expected from western Lapland to the eastern border, with isolated thunderstorms possible in the east.
Conditions will turn slightly clearer toward evening, with partial clearing in the south, central regions, and west. Temperatures will begin a cautious rise on Thursday, reaching around 20°C in the south, while the rest of the country remains cooler.
