Temperatures to approach 30°C in southern Finland this weekend

Southern and western Finland will see temperatures climb close to 30°C this weekend, according to a Tuesday forecast by Yle.

While Finland will avoid the extreme heatwave affecting much of Europe, the mercury is expected to rise above 25°C across the southern regions from Friday, peaking on Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday will bring humid conditions, with refreshing rain showers and possible thunderstorms.
