Finnish egg producer recalls products over salmonella concerns

Finnish egg packer Munax Oy has recalled eggs from one of its contract farms as a precaution after salmonella was detected in another flock from the same producer, Yle reports.
The affected eggs, sold under various brands in K- and S-group stores and Lidl, carry the stamp code 2FI648551 and have a best-before date of July 12 or earlier. The letter “L” next to the date indicates they were packed at the Laitila facility.
