A new survey names the Finnish News Agency STT as the country’s most trusted news source, with a trust score of 3.83 out of 5.

Uusi Juttu placed second with a score of 3.50, followed closely by Helsingin Sanomat and public broadcaster Yle. A score of at least 3.50 is considered a strong level of trust. MTV3 also reached a moderate trust level, according to the Uutismedioiden Luottamus & Maine 2026 study.

The survey, conducted in early summer, included nearly 1,900 respondents from Finland. It also found that Yle is the most trusted national public broadcaster among Finnish citizens when compared to its international counterparts.
