Suomi Areena opens in Pori with Niinistö interview

The Suomi Areena discussion forum begins today in Pori, with the four-day event running through Friday, reports Yle.

On the opening day, topics will include Finland’s security, with President Sauli Niinistö appearing for an on-stage interview. Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is scheduled as the keynote speaker on Thursday.

The event is organized by the city of Pori and MTV, and attendance in the open urban space is free.
