Batch of pea-carrot baby snacks recalled over toxin levels

Finnish food producer Suomen Oikia Oy is recalling a batch of its Moomin-branded organic pea-carrot oat baby snacks after internal checks found levels of ochratoxin A exceeding legal limits, the company announced.

The affected products are 35-gram bags of Oikia Moomin organic pea-carrot oat snacks with a best-before date of 1 March 2027. The company states that consuming the snacks does not pose an immediate health risk, but prolonged exposure may cause adverse effects.
