Two massive superyachts have been docked at Holbergskaien in Bergen in recent days, drawing significant attention from locals and tourists, Dagbladet reports.
The first, Nasiba, was built in Italy by Cantiere delle Marche and delivered in 2025. Measuring 44.33 metres, it is one of four in the Flexplorer 146 series, with an estimated price tag of around NOK 330 million.
According to Forbes, the owners had highly specific demands for the interior, requesting a yacht suited for global voyages with long range, high performance, and a focus on health and wellness. The result features a Japanese-inspired design with sustainable, non-toxic materials to minimise chemical emissions. Amenities include an infrared sauna next to the owner’s bathroom, a cold-water plunge pool on the foredeck for muscle recovery, and a dining set crafted from 250-year-old wood felled by natural causes. A moss wall serves as the centrepiece at the main staircase.
The yacht arrived from Portugal about a week ago and is registered under the Cayman Islands flag, a common choice for superyachts. When asked about the owner, the English-speaking crew responded only that he is “a very private individual.”
Moored nearby is Savannah, an 83.5-metre superyacht built by Dutch shipyard Feadship in 2015. Valued at approximately NOK 1.6 billion, it is considered the world’s first true hybrid superyacht. Originally commissioned by the late Swedish billionaire Lukas Lundin, it was sold in 2023 to an unnamed wealthy European businessman and now sails under the Marshall Islands flag.
Savannah also starred in the Netflix thriller The Woman in Cabin 10 under the fictional name The Aurora Borealis. Filming took place in September 2024, with scenes shot in Portland Harbour, England, and Hjørundfjorden, Norway.
