Worker injured after metal load falls from crane in Søldafirði

A worker was injured in Søldafirði on Friday after a metal load fell from a crane, Faroese public broadcaster KVF reports.

The incident occurred while the worker was operating the crane. The metal load struck the worker, prompting the Faroese Work and Fire Safety Authority to respond. The worker was taken to hospital for examination and is not in life-threatening condition.

Authorities have not disclosed the employer of the injured worker.
