Kirkjubø garden now charges 150 krónur for entry

The farmers of Kirkjubø have begun charging all visitors 150 krónur to enter the historic garden, Faroese public broadcaster KVF reports.

Proceeds will fund the maintenance and preservation of the site, according to local farmer Jóannes Patursson.

A small sales booth was set up on Monday to collect the fee.
