Traffic lights in central Tórshavn remain non-functional

The traffic lights in central Tórshavn have not been working for an extended period, KVF reports.

Initially, the issue affected lights in Bøkjarabrekka. A component was then removed from the lights in Fr. Petersens gøta to repair the first set, but this left the second set non-functional for over a week.

Fríður Dalsgarð, technical director of Tórshavn Municipality, stated last week that the problem would be resolved quickly once a replacement part arrived and could be installed. However, the part has not yet been delivered, and authorities have now ordered a new one.
