Florist shares tips for the perfect midsummer flower crown

Florist Sara Vadadi demonstrated how to craft a simple yet elegant midsummer flower crown using minimal materials during an appearance on SVT’s Morgonstudion.

“I want everyone to feel they can be florists and create something beautiful on a day like this,” she said.

Vadadi advised using garden-picked materials and incorporating contrasting flower shapes—pairing small blooms with larger ones—to achieve a fuller look. She noted that one of the most common mistakes is rushing the process.

“The base is very important. I often see people pick flowers right away and start wrapping them with cotton tape or string, which just stretches and causes the flowers to wilt,” she explained.
