Finnish online retailers must now provide customers with a clear and accessible way to cancel orders, such as a dedicated button, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) has stated.

The requirement, which took effect today, stems from an EU directive now incorporated into national consumer protection law. Businesses must ensure the cancellation function is prominently displayed, and customers must receive confirmation of any cancellation made.
