Traffic expert advises drivers to bypass queues

Drivers should avoid lane-switching to save time in heavy traffic, according to Jeanette Jedbäck Hindenburg, a driving school principal and former judge on Sweden’s Worst Driver programme, speaking to SVT.

“It’s a myth that you save time by weaving between lanes,” she said, addressing common misconceptions ahead of the busy Midsummer travel period.

Hindenburg, who also appears in an SVT video, argues that more drivers should consider a manoeuvre that typically provokes frustration—passing queues entirely.
