Strawberry season off to a slow start

Strawberry harvests at Stensgård Jordbær have dropped sharply this year, with daily picks of around 100 kilograms compared to up to one tonne at this time in 2025, the Danish broadcaster DR reports.

The farm, like other strawberry producers, is seeing a delayed start to the season, with many berries still green and only a slow emergence of ripe fruit.
