Pre-trial investigation into Nakkila teacher assault completed, no prosecution considered

Southwest Finland police have concluded their pre-trial investigation into an assault on a teacher at Nakkila joint school in November 2025, Yle reports.

A student under 15 at the time allegedly struck and kicked the teacher in the head during a break. The suspect left the scene but was apprehended nearby shortly after.

The case was investigated as aggravated assault, but will not proceed to prosecution consideration because the suspect was under the legal age of criminal responsibility in Finland. Police will not release further details due to the suspect’s age.
