Hesburger receives record 26,829 summer job applications

Fast-food chain Hesburger received a record 26,829 applications for summer jobs this year, the company announced in a press release.
Applications nearly doubled compared to 2025, when 14,066 people applied. The chain hired about 1,200 seasonal workers, meaning each posted position attracted an average of 92 applicants.
Forty percent of applicants were under 20 years old, according to the release.
