Health school launches nursing aide class in Tórshavn in August

The Faroese Health School will start a nursing aide programme in Tórshavn in August with 19 students, enough to proceed, according to school director Vivie Davidsen.
Initially only 14 applied, but the class now has 19 students from across the Faroe Islands. Teaching will take place in Tórshavn, Suðuroy, and online.
The 25-week programme, based on new regulations, runs until January. In addition, a 3-year nursing programme will begin after the summer holiday with 18 students.
