A woman in her 30s was found dead in Porsgrunn on Tuesday, while a minor child was airlifted to Ullevål Hospital with serious injuries, Dagbladet reports.

Emergency services, including a rescue helicopter, responded to the incident in the Grenland area. Operations leader Kamilla Einarsdatter Aardal of the South-East Police District confirmed the discoveries in a police log update. The child’s exact injuries remain unspecified.

Next of kin have been notified. The rescue operation has concluded, and the case has shifted to an investigation phase, with authorities working to determine what occurred.

A local resident told Dagbladet the response involved a full emergency deployment in Frierflogene, a nature reserve known for its cliffs and viewpoints. The E18 Grenlandsbrua road was temporarily closed during the operation but has since reopened.
