Tórshavn municipality is developing an architecture policy to guide future construction and urban culture across the capital, reports Faroese broadcaster KVF.
The policy will serve as a framework for decisions on new buildings and urban planning, with a stronger emphasis on rethinking old city layouts and permitting designs that reflect contemporary needs.
It will also prioritise improving pedestrian environments and revitalising public spaces. Residents will be invited to contribute ideas and perspectives as part of the process.
