Faroese education authority seeks more applicants for principal role

The Faroese Education Authority is reopening applications for the principal position at Skúlanum við Løgmannabreyt after receiving only nine submissions by the initial June 10 deadline, Kringvarp Føroya reports.

Hjalmar Hansen, director of the Education Authority, confirmed the position will be readvertised with a new deadline of June 26. The successful candidate is expected to start September 1.

The existing applications are still under consideration by the selection committee.
