Finland to establish dedicated drone defence units

The Finnish Defence Forces will create separate drone defence units equipped with advanced countermeasures against unmanned aerial threats, according to the Defence Forces’ magazine Ruotuväki.

Colonel Mano-Mikael Nokelainen, inspector of air defence, confirmed the plan, stating that training for the new units will begin within a few years.
