Child seriously injured in Jessheim school traffic accident

A child was seriously injured in a traffic accident near Jessheim school on Thursday, emergency services confirmed.
The victim, an 8-year-old boy, was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Ullevål Hospital, according to operations manager Henrik Larsen. Emergency responders, including police, are handling the incident.
Witnesses reported seeing the collision, and the boy’s parents have been notified. The school’s principal and a municipal crisis team have been alerted, said Yngve Rønning, municipal director for education in a statement to Dagbladet.
