Charges filed in Helsinki jewelry store burglary with €600,000 in stolen goods

Prosecutors have filed charges against one individual in connection with a burglary at a jewelry store in central Helsinki, Yle reports.

The break-in occurred at the Holmast jewelry store on Aleksanterinkatu in late April. The estimated resale value of the stolen property is approximately €600,000.

The suspect faces charges of aggravated theft and aggravated criminal damage. According to police, the individual has partially admitted involvement during the preliminary investigation and remains in custody.

Investigations are ongoing for two other suspects. One is detained in absentia, while authorities are currently verifying the identity of the third.
