Critics warn consent law debate overlooks victims

Five years after Denmark’s consent-based sexual offence law took effect, critics argue the reform has created new problems, including concerns that teenagers may lack the maturity to interpret signals and determine consent.

The focus frustrates Ida Langæble of the organisation Voldtægtsofres Vilkår, according to a report by Danish broadcaster DR.
