A group of schoolchildren on the Danish island of Fur are learning carpentry skills every Monday after school, working under the supervision of local carpenter Norwin Solies to construct their own small houses, Danish broadcaster DR reports.

The project gives the children hands-on experience with sawing, screwing, and assembling wooden structures. Solies, a Fur-based carpenter, leads the weekly sessions, teaching them the fundamentals of building.
