Finnish emergency services free adult woman stuck in toddler swing

Emergency crews in Joensuu were called to a playground Friday morning after an adult woman became trapped in a child’s frame swing, Finnish public broadcaster Yle reports.

The incident occurred at Karhunmäki playground, where the woman had sat in a swing designed for small children. The frame swing, which includes a surrounding bar to prevent falls, left her unable to free herself despite assistance from bystanders.

Rescue personnel removed the swing’s chains and lowered it to the ground before successfully extricating the woman. Neither she nor the swing sustained any damage in the process.
