The opposition Firkløverregeringen coalition’s proposed tax cuts, reduced VAT, reinstatement of the Store Bededag public holiday, free dental care, and free public transport for children and young people face scrutiny tonight in Debatten, where host Clement Kjersgaard will press panellists on whether the pledges are financially viable, DR reports.

The live debate, broadcast on DR, comes as the coalition’s election platform includes a series of costly commitments, raising questions over fiscal feasibility.
