Finland marks Defence Forces Flag Day with national parade in Tammisaari

Finland is celebrating Defence Forces Flag Day on Thursday, an official flag-flying day and annual military holiday, with a national parade held in Tammisaari, Raasepori, according to public broadcaster Yle.

The parade, themed “Strong Together in the Baltic Sea,” will feature a review ceremony at Tammisaari’s central field at noon, followed by a march along Raaseporintie. The programme also includes an air display, a jazz concert, and an equipment exhibition at Stallörinpuisto, with free admission for all attendees.
