Man’s body found in shallow water in Kristinestad

A man was found dead in the shallow coastal waters of Skatan in Kristinestad on Tuesday, Finnish public broadcaster Yle reports.

Emergency services were alerted just after 10 a.m. by a relative who discovered the body. Police and paramedics responded to the scene, where the man was confirmed deceased.

Authorities stated there is no suspicion of foul play. The case will proceed as a routine death investigation, with no further details to be released.
